I have a few questions...
1. is uploading a story formatted differently on the forums vs in the xnxx library.
2. like vs dislike, is this a real thing, and do they count more on the forums or in the library.
3. if you have read the "Bath house Balling" thread "story" is it to intense not intense enough..
4. as we can see if you read it my formatting looked right here but on upload it is likee 1 big run on sentence...

any help would be appreciated i would love to get this formatted correctly to put it in the "stories" section but i dont want the thing to look like a piece of doo hangin off a dogs butt..

1) I have posted to both and you need to format them very differently. In the form you have a lot more text control.
2) They do not cross over. They are independent of each other.
3) Sorry, I have not read it, so can't comment,
4) You can preview your posting and fix it before final posting on the sexstories side.

I am having difficulty publishing a story. It is some 16k words, and includes chapters one through six.

When I go into edit mode it shows at best 5k words. The rest of it is cut off, and does not show up.

Where did the rest of my story go? I don't want to have to publish it in small parts.

 

I'm recently new to this. I like writing sex stories about my sexual fantasies, true sex stories, and fictional sex stories. I've recently just posted some sex stories. Let me know what you guys think.

 

I have written a few dozen erotic stories as I find it enjoyable to put thoughts into words, but I have never published any of them. All my writing is stream of conciousness, I do not use any kind of outline or notes. One downside to this is....once I finished an entire chapter of a story. I was rolling and forgot to save periodically (I just use wordpad). When I went to proofread it to fix any errors and clean it up the program froze and had to be killed. I wound up losing that entire chapter forever as often after writing a chapter I don't even remember what I wrote until I read it. All I remember is it was really good.

I'm still shy about publishing but I'm going to pick one of my works and put it up there just to see how it's received.

 

I understand your sentiment towards, as you put it, "stream of consciousness".
I doubt there is a writer here who creates such a detailed outline that they do not stream their consciousness. However, I must really point out that if your device is crashing. There are ways to preserve your words. Google docs for instance saves every keystroke. It quit literaly never disappears.

Also, don't hate on the outline. It doesn't need to be bullet points and bold letters.
If simply needs to define the body of your story.

What is my plot?
Who are my characters?
There is nothing worse, than reading someone's stream of consciousness that has forgotten what their protagonist looks like.

People do not magically change appearances, and stories should not magically change appearances either. An outline will help you stay on track.

 

No rules. I use the forum to get an idea of how the story will be received. You’ll get many more views at sexstories but you may get some comments on the forum that are useful. Also I use it as a way to get the formatting correct. From word pad to the forum will take some editing then again going to sexstories.

So I am pretty excited about my newest story, and have been refreshing the page repeatedly. There were a lot of highly rated stories right off the bat. It was good competition and one other and myself sat at 5k reads and 100%

Very exciting right?

Next thing I know every single story was downvoted. All at the same time. Not just one or two. All of them got down voted within minutes of one another.

Has anyone else witnessed this?

Still excited about my story, but now questioning if I missed something or could have done it better. Feeling a bit discouraged with sexstories.

 

Id love to read a few good Femdom stories, or better would be books if any one had any suggestions.

Whats with all the comments about too many votes? Registered users can not vote positive?

 

In the comments I screenshot below, people are complaining because they are not being allowed to vote. Why are they locking votes on stories? When they try to vote it says too many votes?
